Does this plant need to be staked when it matures? And any other special care?

The care of this plant is the same as that of most other Monstera Dubia plants. To prevent root rot, give it indirect sunlight and water once a week, provide moss sticks or a trellis so the plant can mature, and maintain a temperature of 65°F to 85°F.

Don't worry if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed. This plant is a breeze to care for! First, find a spot with little sunlight but not too much. Water it once a week, or use the finger test to check the moisture. It's happiest when the temperature is between 65 and 85°F, and it likes a lot of moisture in the air. Use a humidity meter to keep an eye on it. During the growing season, fertilize regularly and provide a moss pole or trellis to help it climb. This plant is straightforward to grow, and a little pruning of the stems or leaves will keep it looking neat and tidy.

The beautiful Monstera dubia thrives when its roots are nestled in a nurturing potting mix that's loosely packed and moist, while also allowing plenty of room for air to circulate. A chunky soil mix designed for aroids is perfect for these tropical plants.

I've found that the best soil mix for my little dubia is equal parts orchid bark, peat moss or coco coir, and perlite. Let me know if you try this, and I'd love to hear how your plants grow!

You can put it in indirect light for about six to eight hours a day, and you don't have to worry about the temperature. Just keep it at about 65°F to 75°F, and it'll be just right.

Caring for this mature form of Monstera Dubia doesn't have to be complicated. As usual, I give it indirect sunlight. There's nothing particularly special I do other than that. Perhaps I should try giving it a moss pole to see if that would encourage it to grow even more beautifully.
